Sydney Stine is a graduate assistant for the Peer Assisted Learning Program at the University Center for Academic Excellence. Sydney has earned her bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Health and Medical Humanities from UNC Charlotte and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a research assistant in the StressWAVES Biobehavioral Research Lab and completed an honors thesis on hormonal contraceptives and mental health. Her passion lies in improving health through holistic and integrated approaches to healthcare. Outside of academic pursuits, she enjoys crocheting, thrifting, snowboarding, and hiking.
